Thursday afternoon. Scorching hot sun. The fly hovers around aimlessly.
I am in my room.
The bright blue rug that I once loved has been rolled up and tucked in a corner.
My room smells of sleep, Maliboo and cigarettes.
My table is messy with useless vouchers, receipts, an unused fork and stickers I use to decorate my polaroids.
My love is lying on my bed next to my dog.
My love is looking at her phone.
My dog is looking at me.
I am looking at my screen, trying to put the next blog post together.

heh i know this is cliche, but try “Safe & Sound” by Taylor Swift! It’s the IN song right now cus of Hunger Games haha. And it’s really got a nice tune which I think your voice suits! Otherwise, “Offbeat” by the very talented Clara Chung also can!

C – yeah i play a little bit of guitar before i tried the uke. i have to say the uke is easier to pick up though! π pretty much just see how to press the chords online and figure out how to strum. the internet is my teacher. :p
