Crêperie des Arts

Heard of Strictly Pancakes? But have you ever noticed the unassuming little cafe right next to it?
A and I heard friends raving about the crepes at Crêperie des Arts, so we decided to give it a try.

IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST BITE.

I know how crepes are usually sweet, served with ice cream, honey or other sweets.
We were pretty surprised when we checked out the large variety of savoury crepes that’s available there!
Our first visit was two weeks ago on a Sunday and after one meal,
we decided that we want to have the exact same thing for lunch the following day.
But because they are closed on Monday, we headed back for dinner again on Tuesday!
The crepes are THAT good to make us wanna head back so many times!

Here are some pictures to give you a virtual tour around the cafe.

We spoke to the owner, Sun sun (who is REALLY friendly and hospitable) and were told that they only serve dinner now.
But I’m sure we might be able to enjoy their crepes for lunches soon after Sun sun’s delivery.

The cafe is rather small but definitely cozy!
They have about 4 table indoors and a few more outdoors.
Apart from those, they also have a level 2 which will be opened up to accommodate more guests during bad weather.
Guests can host private events on level 2 as well.

We heard that they have plans for a major renovation to make the place even cozier too!
As for food, we haven’t really tried a huge variety yet because we keep eating the same thing. Heh.
A is addicted to the spinach and salmon crepe!
I’ve tried that as well and I love it to bits too.
We have been eating the same thing until Sun sun also remember already lor. Hahaha!

Another one thing that will always be on our table during our meals is Apple Cider!
It’s yummy!

We tried one of their sweet crepes on one of our visits too!
It was really good! The picture just doesn’t do it justice at all.

I promise the food is fabulous and I don’t understand why most Singaporeans end up at Strictly Pancakes instead.
The owner told us that the cafe welcomes a lot of French and trust me, I’m sure the French know their French crepes well.
So, please do yourself a favour and try Crêperie des Arts out.
As much as I hate sharing this place because that would mean I have to queue for a table in future,
I think the good food and great service deserves recognition and a roaring business!

Here is me and Sun sun. She’s a really nice lady.

And here is the address to Crêperie des Arts!
See you there if you’re heading there because I’m definitely going back again.
Heh!

I shall end the post with some camwhore pictures and new shoes from Jayne’s shop Sœurs located at Cineleisure Level 2!
Thank God for good crepes and take care till we meet again!
