This is probably the longest I have been away from my blog.
It has been a month since my last update!
These couple of weeks has been real crazy for me.
A and I have been super humans running around doing almost everything on our own.
From sourcing trips to cooking and experimenting for our food menu to working with our designers for the cafe.
TOO MUCH TO DO!
My eyebags are so massive now I think I’ll have to check them in if I do (have the time to) travel.
Seriously can’t live without makeup.
It is 6:34am and I have made up my mind that I NEED to blog tonight.
It is so surreal to see everything coming together.
I mean, we were just a tiny online tiramisu store just a year ago.
This is really a huge leap of faith.
Look what we have gotten ourselves into:
So many people have told us the horror stories about F&B business winding up every single day in Singapore,
and how food business is probably one of the trickiest trades to be in.
For some strange reason, A and I have a feeling that this big step is inevitable
and almost necessary to keep our brand growing.
The Tiramisu Hero is really our baby and it’s finally going to pop in late September. Hahaha!
(Sorry if I’ve been talking about The Tiramisu Hero too often of late, this is pretty much what my life is about now)
Never been so tired all my life.
I really miss blogging and the lifestyle where I can just
attend events, write about them, try out new products, write about them.
Heh.
I think finding time to do such things might be more challenging from now forth but that said,
I am darn confident I’ll be able to multi task and pull it off!
If others can do it, I sure as hell can do it too.
So before I get knocked out in bed, I shall just do my 7am ramble and document the progress so far in here.
GETTING FAT
I hope having a cafe does not mean I will get fat and look like a happy chef with a big belly.
Hahaha! I want to be a cool and stylish one please!
I have been eating way too much over this few weeks.
And I eat at night when we finally have time to cook and try out our recipes.
Here are some of the suppers I have had this few weeks! Looks bloody sinful for supper man.
εζ»δΊΊ.
I think A and I are blessed with very supportive family and friends too.
They have been giving us so much encouragement and help to the extent that
I think this wouldn’t have been possible without them.
The girls have been doing “labourer” and admin work for us and I can say The Tiramisu Hero is also
built with their brain and muscles too.
Hahaha.
And to my beloved Mom, thank you for being so ON about lending your help whenever I need it.
And of course, there will be no tiramisu hero or cafe without A.
She has been my pillar of support and the one keeping me in check and keeping me sane.
We both have a vision for The Tiramisu Hero to be a second home to cafe-dwellers and to create a cafe
built with so much love people feel it the moment they step in.
We have big dreams about being able to watch it grow strong and ultimately be able to give back to the society and
let Sir Antonio be the real hero and save countless stray cats. Hahahaha!
So, thank you A – for your love, encouragement, advice and lessons about being positive and brave.
And lastly to give myself a pat on the back tiramisu style..
Hahaha! Promise to be back with more updates.
JIAYOU JIAYOU!!! Let me know if you need help too:)
