Courtesy of Journeyful and Bintan Lagoon Resort, A and I were whisked away to Bintan for the weekend!
I always loved weekend getaways and other than local hotel staycations, short trips to nearby isles is also one of my faves.
A and I joined other bloggers and media representatives to the media launch at Bintan Lagoon Resort!
The walkway to the resort was littered with the resort staff and it was really very welcoming!
They all had different uniforms so I reckon they all played different roles in the resort. Very cute!
I also saw other bloggers like Silver, Nadnut, Brad, Zoe, Dawn and many more. š
We were all given a goodie bag with LOTS of junk food and a welcome drink at the lobby of the resort too!
We put up at one of the Club Suites and it was really much bigger, cleaner and prettier than what I remembered.
(I stayed at this same resort some 5 years ago)
There is also a personalized welcome message in our room. Nice touch!
There is also a small balcony in our room. Check out the refreshing view!
It’s the sea beyond the greens, but I think you can’t really see it properly in the photo below.
Then I got retarded and did some ah siao poses for A. HAHAHA!
Please look and laugh and forget about these.
We were only there for about one full day so we want to make full use of our time there!
After freshening up, we headed out for lunch at RICE.
There were also buggies to take us around the resort. No need to walk eh!
Excellent for lazy bones like me :p
Me stuffing my face with food. *hungry*
There was also a short tour around the resort.
We came by the villas and I was surprised to know that the villas are actually for sale!
About half a million or less each, depending on the size.
Interesting!
Each villa has their own buggy so the visitors can just drive around the resort on their very own transport.
Great for huge group of friends or big families I think.
Shortly after, we were told we will be having some drinks and dinner! (FOOD AGAIN! :p)
The buggy took us around the golf course and before we know it…
We arrived at this whole gorgeous blue and white set up by the beach on the gold course!
There were two lines of welcoming staff from the resort to welcome us to dinner too.
It felt like a wedding! Heh. Very nice!
We chilled over drinks and hang out with other blogger friends.
It’s nice to get to know Nadia and Silver better over the trip too.
Very very nice people! ā¤
And we played with åęēÆ too!
Check out our very own lantern with wishes for The Tiramisu Hero! ā¤
Alternatively, you can make our wishes come true by visiting our store and trying our yummy tiramisu! Haha.
Not to be shameless but I think we have the cutest lantern! Hehe.
The ferry home on the following day is at 3-ish in the afternoon.
So we headed out to do some activities in the sun in the morning!!
The initial plan was ATV but the wait was quite long so A dragged me to jet ski.
I DREAD IT SO MUCH because I am a little hydrophobic and it was really quite scary for me.
But after her extreme persuasion…. I caved.
I don’t know what the guy who took the pictures did with the camera but the pictures all turned out a little blur.
Bleah.
But okay lah, still not too bad. Haha!
I think he was still seasick. Everything was slanted. Haha!
AND ATV!!!
I think I look more like some tuk tuk driver. :p
Quite tak glam.
It was my first time on an ATV and it’s really very fun!
The ATV track around the resort vicinity had different kinds of terrain and it was quite a fun experience.
The half an hour ride was way too short for me!!
And this is what A did when I asked her to act cool.
HAHAHAHA!
WE HAD LOTS OF FUN!! ā¤
The trip was really short but it was really awesome.
A big thank you to Journeyful and Bintan Lagoon Resort for the wonderful weekend! ā¤
Have a great Saturday ahead friends!
Peace xx
peggy… you are awesome, but the insignia on your tank top, the 3rd reich insignia with the nazi logo… is questionable =|

My God! Why the hell are you wearing a Nazi t-shirt? Do you have any idea about history? I like your blog but this really brings you down. You should be ashamed of that shirt.
