I attended the Guess Watches event some time back and have yet blogged about it, so here it is! I have never owned a Guess watch but I always remembered Guess as being loud and ‘bling’. After the event, I realized that they have so many different styles of watches, and there are so many that I cannot take my eyes off! From the loud, bling and stylish ones, to simple classic designs – every different style. During the event, I was supposed to style a model with Guess apparels to match a Guess watch of my choice. And of course, who else will be a better model than my favourite girl, A! I met other well known bloggers like my Velda, Beatrice, Zoe and Rachell. My first pair of glasses

Friends who know me would know I’m someone who loves glasses and that I own dozens of toy glasses I wear as accessories. All through my life, I thought I had perfect eyesight. But a trip down to Nanyang Optical had proved me wrong. I was slightly myopic and I can finally get my first pair of proper glasses! (Don’t ask me why I’m so excited when my eyesight has deteriorated. Haha!) I went to the Nanyang Optical branch at NEX because it was near A’s place! There were many different brands for the eyewear but I was particularly attracted to the exclusive house brands in the store. Each brand is very unique and I thought instead of getting the usual brands, why not try something special, different and less run-on-the-mill? It’s going to be my first pair of glasses, so I wanted it to be the best! It was hard to pick out one pair from the huge variety of glasses on display! It has been a great week so far! We brought A’s 2 huskies out to Tanjong Beach Club again with A’s siblings. Considering that it’s the monsoon season now, we were really lucky that it didn’t rain! Poor us had to squeeze at the back of a van though. Like animal and human trafficking. Hahahaha. The girls are always happy when we are out on excursions! Ulva even made a new friend! 😀 I love the calamari at Tanjong Beach Club! Super yummy! It’s such a lovely place but it’s really a shame that their service sucks so bad. All the many staff at the club were all huddles up behind the counter and there is no one around to pass us menu, take our orders or see if we are okay. It was drizzling when we were there and when the rain stopped, we asked if we could use the day beds on the beach.
