A and I finally made it to Barcelona!
We heard so much about this place – the petty thieves, the gorgeous beaches, the friendly people, the glorious food…
And indeed, this place lived up to expectations and we fell in love with Barcelona the moment we set foot on it!
After dumping our rucksacks in our apartment at La Rambla, we headed out to Bar Lobo which is just round the corner.
The host at our apartment raved about this place, saying it’s one of the best cafes in Barcelona and we were so excited about it!
The Spanish are so friendly and the service here was so good! Very impressed.
And of course, the food was absolutely fantastic (and probably the best we had throughout our stay in Barcelona).
Tapas and Paella for lunch!
We stayed in the heart of the city near La Rambla and the experience was really good!
It’s convenient to travel around from here, and it’s near the metro station too.
Plus there are like tons of shopping available all around. Food too!
I really miss Barcelona already!
The first day was spent visiting the museums and Spanish village.
The weather was sunny but cool and that makes walking around very enjoyable!
And as usual, A is our tour guide again. Haha!
The view was spectacular up at the MNAC!
We also headed over to the Spanish Village which is about 15 to 20 mins walk away (uphill ahem).
I don’t like walking uphill, thus the smelly face.
Spanish Village was really pretty though!
It was initially built to be a little exhibition area.
But the response was so good that they decided to keep the place and make it an open air museum!
I don’t know what A is doing in here. Hahaha!
And as usual, we started feeding birds again. š”
And A suggested that we should leave bread crumbs everywhere so that the pigeons will still have food even when after we left.
So cute hor this girl. :p
On our way back, we also toured around the main shopping street outside of our apartment.
Barcelona, what a colourful place! ā¤
Before I end this post, I also want to share more about this website I came across couple of days back.
Woofilicious is a website that serves homemade organic meals and treats for our furkids,
and it’s really super cute!
I bought some treats for Ah Boo and she really liked it so just thought I’ll share it with you peeps!
They also have this Pets Tips section on the website and one of the articles was about responsibility as a pet owner.
One of the things I hate the most is seeing abuse of animals and abandonment of pets,
so if you are thinking of getting a new furkid, read it ok! š
The Tiramisu Hero is thinking about adopting a charity as soon as we can manage our finances properly
and when our business stabilizes.
Hope that day will come soon and I can’t wait for the day for us to adopt
some animal-related charitable organization and do our part for the animals.
I will also be doing Botox on my jaw muscles tomorrow! *thrilled*
I last did it couple of years back and the results were really good.
Hope tomorrow’s session will bring some kickass results too!
Will definitely update this space and share my experience! :B
