I am never really a meat person.
But a visit to The King Louis has made me think twice the next time I say this statement again.
Before I yak on and on about how freaking good the meat banquet was, pictures around this pretty restaurant first!
The King Louis is located in Vivocity, next to Daiso.
I never knew there was anything beyond Daiso, and was pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant with such a nice view there!
The decor of the restaurant was really cool and I can really see that there is a lot of effort put into every little detail.
Hope The Tiramisu Hero cafe would make our customers go WOW like how The King Louis impressed me too! Heh.
We got a nice table by the ceiling to floor windows.
The view was so fab!
I heard on weekend nights, this place is a great place to dine and watch the fireworks at Sentosa too!
Oh and did I mention there is live music there as well? ๐
Here’s me and the pretty Danielle.
A says, a good restaurant will never allow themselves to screw up their soups.
And The King Louis even put so much attention into their garlic bread and made sure they were all piping hot before bringing them to the guests.
I have to say, I have been completely bought over by this place!
We also had some starters while waiting for Max and Kayla to join us.
This Teriyaki Salad was super yummy and I like how it’s unlike other “typical” salads with the usual vinegar and stuff.
Love the teriyaki chicken and it made me eat more vegetables that night. Haha!
And this is only going at $13.80.
We also had one of the recommended dishes – Banana Bacon Bites!
I know right! Banana and Bacon together?!
You’ll be surprised I tell you. MUST TRY MUST TRY!
Price: $10.50.
And the star of the party has definitely got to be The Queen Victoria Banquet.
There is 4-5 of us but we only ordered a banquet for 2-3 pax, and there was enough food to go around!
In this platter of goodness, there is roasted beef with black pepper sauce, BBQ baby back ribs, pan seared snapper, oven baked king prawns with delicious melted Australian cheese,
and my favourite – sautรฉed scallop with garlic and wine sauce.
It was so so so good!
YUMS!
The banquet is only at $108.50 and it’s seriously very affordable for something so massive and delish!
And we also had some BBQ Chicken Pullet served with mesclun and fries to end off the meal. Heh!!
I know. we are such gluttons!
OK, random picture of me acting retarded with a huge fork. Haha!
I have to say I am so happy to have found the existence of The King Louis.
I know where to go the next time I’m having one of my wanna-eat-meat days already!
They are having a 2-for-1 in house deal promotions for Mondays to Thursdays too, so if you work around there or want to have a “meaty lunch”,
please do yourself a favour and head on there!
And here are some information you need if you want to check The King Louis out.
