Sand in Your Buns
It has been a great week so far! We brought A’s 2 huskies out to Tanjong Beach Club again with A’s siblings. Considering that it’s the monsoon season now, we were really lucky that it didn’t rain! Poor us had to squeeze at the back of a van though. Like animal and human trafficking. Hahahaha. The girls are always happy when we are out on excursions! Ulva even made a new friend! 😀 I love the calamari at Tanjong Beach Club! Super yummy! It’s such a lovely place but it’s really a shame that their service sucks so bad. All the many staff at the club were all huddles up behind the counter and there is no one around to pass us menu, take our orders or see if we are okay. It was drizzling when we were there and when the rain stopped, we asked if we could use the day beds on the beach. One of the servers told me they closed up the beds because it was drizzling (they call it some …
Hollywood After Party
Weekends are always happy and last weekend was fab especially with the Hollywood After Party at Universal Studios Singapore! Finn, Sinsin, A and I wanted to unwind at a new place with live music and drinks, so after doing some research, we ended up at the Hollywood After Party! What attracted me at first was the $33 free flow (because everyone needs a good beer over the weekend)! but when I heard that there will be a huge stage set up with some awesome live bands like Goodfellas, BeatRoots and Common People, I was blown away. I love live music, and I’m sure having a life band at a place like Universal Studios Singapore would definitely mean good audio systems! Just in case you are reading this and you are itching for a good night out with your friends, let me tell you more about where to get the tickets first. Haha! Entry to Hollywood After Party is at $20 nett, and that includes one drink. You can also top up $13 for the All …
Decade of Love
The previous weekend was totally fab! A and I were made busy (but happily) preparing for Lianie dear’s big day! Before I share the golden couple’s pictures on their ROM day, here are some pictures we took for them. The two of them are the funniest ever! Haha. The ROM was a simple but beautiful gathering of family and friends at Fort Canning. Lianie wanted a white wedding so she got all of us to turn up in white. But of course, no one will be as stunning as my beautiful friend! Hsean Hsean as the adorable flower girl! And the rest of us! I love my white eyelet blouse from Runway Bandits! Super comfortable to be in! I hardly wear clothes of such cut, I hope it doesn’t look weird on me. Love love it! 😀 Look at Rykiel’s face! SO CUTE! And more pictures! Everyone wants a picture with the bride! Heh. Happy we manage to steal her for a couple of pictures! :p Thirsty bride. Haha. And more time for us to …
Christmas Wishlist
As Christmas is drawing near day by day, it’s time to be a smart girl (or boy) and beat the shopping crowds! Having such a busy schedule lately, I have decided to get all the Christmas gifts I need this year at Jipaban! And it’s great for lazy people like me because they also have a Christmas Gift Guide which categorizes the gift and makes life a lot easier for me! And of course, to reward myself for being such a good girl this year, I’ve made up a little Christmas wishlist for myself too. Hahaha! *drop hints to friends* WHAT I WANT THIS CHRISTMAS! Everything from household items to apparels to useless but fun things. 😀 Jipaban is also having a Christmas Giveaway where shoppers get to share their Christmas wishlist on the Jipaban Facebook Page and one lucky winner will be chosen by Jipaban every week to give them an item in their wishlist! (items to be from Jipaban website only). Now we know who the real Santa Claus is. :p Starting making …
Chye Seng Huat
Popped by my JC friend, Evelyn’s new shop Hareway last week! The store is really pretty and by the name of her store, guess what Hareway sells? If you guessed IPL machines, then *bingo* you’re right! 😀 I’ve never really tried IPL before and when Evelyn approached me and ask me to try out one of these machines, I was thrilled! (A was thrilled too heh!) The store is really pretty and comfortable! They have three main machines and they are all quite different. This first one is good for smaller areas like upper lip, etc and also suitable for men who want to tidy up their moustaches. And this two are more suitable for general uses and for bigger areas – legs, underarms, bikini area etc. And the one in the picture above is the one I brought home! Each set comes with lotions and other complementary products too. For first time users like me, Hareway also provides training! Look at the poster in their training room, so cute! Can’t wait to try it …
Take Care
We all love Singapore. And in times like this when we are all obsessed with work and other material things, how can we make a change in Singapore that can help people live better, healthier and lead more meaningful lives? As our everyday lives become more stressful, and we start to realize that 24 hours a day is no longer enough, it is time to be creative and make the complicated simple. Finding the balance between work and personal time, physical and emotional well-being amongst other things are becoming more of a chore for many of us. Personally, the few years after I graduated from school has whizzed by me in a flash. All of my friends around me were all caught up in rat races that never seem to end and doesn’t seem to be taking us anywhere. Everyday is work, and more work. And apart from dictating our own future paths, we still have to take care of other things in our lives – Am I making enough to give my parents a …
Hello Forever
It was Lianie’s birthday on 2nd October and we all headed out to have dinner together at Casa Verde at Botanic Gardens! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIANIE DEAR! May you always be so gorgeous and fucking fabulous! We love you! ❤ The food there was really good and I like how it is not crazy crowded even at dinner time. I’ve been there for lunch once and it was packed to the brim! (Or maybe we were just luckier that night) Glorious food! I love the pizza!! I wore my new parka from Runway Bandits and new awesome kicks from Soeurs! If you haven’t heard of Soeurs, it’s time to visit them at Cineleisure Level 2. It’s opened by the awesome Jayne Tham and her sister Jasmine! And even if you don’t want to check out these lovely sisters, do it for the gorgeous shoes they have in store! I love this pair so much that I got it in both blue and pink! Totally dig the metal tips. xxx The next day, I set out early …
Monday Blurps
This entire week has been a very joyous one because we were all busy with A’s brother’s wedding! We prepared our new The Tiramisu Hero product, TuttiHero for his reception at home too! Will be launching this product soon on our website and A and I were both very excited about it! I also got my fresh manicure and pedicure at Juup Nails! I am loving the designs so much – fresh manicures always make my day. I’m shallow like that sometimes. Heh! The solemnization was done at Vineyard at Hort Park and it was just so beautiful! So much effort was put into the every little details and the atmosphere was great! Super romantic lor! Hahaha. Congratulations to Donn and Meihua, the really cute couple! ❤ Super cute pageboy! I’m wearing my new lilac maxi from 30 Padded Hangers. I’m loving the colour of the dress and the quality is so good! There are a lot of other pretty dresses there too so do check them out if you’re looking for something new for …
Thanks Eu Yan Sang!
My treatment with Eu Yan Sang has finally come to an end. Physician Zhou has given me enough medicine to last me for another two weeks after my last visit to the clinic. I now do not have to take the medicine daily anymore, but more on a when-I-need-it basis – so I just need to make a hot mug of drink whenever I am having ‘stiffy’ neck aches. At my last treatment at Eu Yan Sang, Physician Zhou gave me a combination of treatment of acupuncture and cupping. I had a really stiff neck that day, probably because of my bad sleeping posture, and the pain was alleviated immediately after the two treatments! The acupuncture and cupping was also, as usual, done after a verbal consultation with the Physician to understand my current state of health. Physician Zhou also introduced me to a new technique for cupping where it will leave no marks on the body at all! She heated up the air in the cups, but this time round, instead of leaving the …
