Juup Your Nails

I found a new nail parlour that I absolutely adore!
There are two branches (from what I researched from the internet) and I visited the Somerset branch.
It’s in one of the shophouses just behind TripleOne and it’s really nice to have my nails done away from the crowds!
The best thing is, I get to watch movie while getting my nails done.
Sex and The City, y’all! ❤

I know I am a little slow but I only found out about this gelish polish thing couple weeks ago.
It rocks because I have really weak nails and gelish seem to last really long,
doesn’t hurt my nails like how hard gel nails do.
Check out my nails!

The girls recommended bright orange for my toe nails and I’m loving it!
I have to say I am really impressed with the service.
They have a freaking menu for drinks ok! Heh.

I am in love.

I like how I have new nail colours to go with the new bracelet & bangle A bought for me!
Look at the bracelet! I like how the chains are all different on one side of the bracelet.
Gorgeous gorgeous.
Thank you sweetie A!

And so I was saying, this new nail spa I visited really rocks!
Do visit them too if you want to be pampered!
They are having this promotion on their Facebook Page where you just need to LIKE and SHARE,
and you will stand a chance to win free services at Juup Nail Spa!
Don’t say I never share ok? Hee.

A was really sweet to send me to Juup and pick me after my nails are done too.
We went to Bugis to get some more lemons and distilled water to get ready for our 3-days detox program!
For your information, I haven’t had any food for 30 over hours when the pictures above were taken.
I know the benefits about regular detoxing but I haven’t really tried doing proper detox before.
And after hearing A rave about this detox thing she tried, I decided to give it a try too!

This is the haven’t-eaten-for-one-day face.

It was really hard trying to keep my face away from the food and after detoxing for a grand total of almost 50 hours,
I caved.
And instead of easing my body into eating regular food again, I had fast food.
Detox fail.
I shall try again 2 weeks later and see if I can do it for 3 days straight.

OK moving on.
A and I went back to Pepperoni Pizzeria for dinner earlier because I was having some massive pizza craving!
This place holds a lot of memories for us because it’s one of the few places we went when we first started.
I love the food here – the pizza, the chicken wings, the squid ink pasta, the calamari.
And the huge variety of beer here never fails to seduce me.
It was pretty dark and crowded so I didn’t manage to get proper pictures.

Please do not be alarmed if you think you saw a face in the picture above.
It’s just the reflection of a drawing from the adjacent wall. Heh!

There are also crayons on the table for the guests to kill some time while waiting for the food.
You can also see lots of cute doodles all over the walls in the restaurant’s interior.
Very cute!

This is A’s face when she ask if I “want to add a calamari to our order”.
Hahahaha! We weren’t even supposed to eat proper food right after the detox!
(But yes we went ahead with the calamari anyway!)

And random camwhore shot.
Is it me or is that hand on chin pose very passe and auntie? 😡

We ordered a Parma Ham & Rocket Salad 9″ Pizza.
It’s so orgasmically good!

I actually like the crust of this pizza!
Who the hell likes to eat pizza crust! So you can imagine how good the rest of the pizza taste.
Pepperoni Pizzeria is also well known for their chicken wings!
A little spicy and very crispy.
I thought I heard it still sizzling when it arrived at our table.

The calamari was just as good!
I guess you can tell with one look that it’s different from the regular calamari you eat outside.

The two girls are very happy after a hearty meal!
Sorry for the blur photo. Heh.

And a few random pictures of A and the kitties.
Can’t believe this girl is with me. :*)

OK. I would like to end this post with something that made me pissed and amused at the same time.
I came to know about this person’s blog from my website’s comment system.
Apparently, the system seem to be able to track a pingback of some sort.
Alright you have to pardon me because I’m actually really bad with such things.

The point is, this certain Belle Soong person took my 365 Post and made it her own!

NOTE: I tried to go back to her website to get the direct link to show you guys but it’s made private now.

“I know it’s way overdue, this is the only time I have to pen it out”
I didn’t know COPY+PASTE can take up so much of your time!
My mom has a saying “拿人家的屁股做脸皮” – I think I know what it means now.

Honestly, if you like what I wrote,
or if you REALLY FEEL EXACTLY THE SAME AS HOW I FELT, at least credit the post?

Do you know how much this post meant to me?
If you look at my original post, you’ll realize that you cannot scroll and copy because those are pictures.
This girl actually bothered to TYPE THEM OUT!
Belle, I thought you say you got no time to “pen it out”, how you find the time to copy and type ah!

“Like Winnie to the Pooh”.
What on earth are you trying to say?
And what is “more to mostest”!
Why you anyhow change my stuff when you don’t even understand what I’m saying.

OK, but I gotta give it to her because she did read through my stuff and did the appropriate editing.

A’s 5 habits that I adore.
Obviously one of the habits doesn’t really make sense to her because she only copied 4.

Belle oh Belle.
Why did you choose to plagiarize and WHY this post?
The contents in this post was only meant for A and I didn’t even want to put them up in my blog in the first place.
You don’t look like someone who needs to plagiarize to be able to write something nice on your website girl.

OK. Aileen is very mad.
Please be kind enough to credit the next time you take stuff from here.

  1. wow, she actually bothered to type it out. means she really liked it – but credit will die ah?!?!?! -_-“

  2. ssnug says

I understand how annoying it is because I encountered sth similar too !!! So now, i decided to lock up my blog… *sigh*

And that person even took some of my photos, crop them and make it hers!!

  3. tskkkkkkkkkkkk! how blatant and silly to plagarise like that! I hope you contacted her and let her know, it’s disgusting when thoughts and words are stolen. 😦

  4. Julez says

    Hi Peggy,

May I know where can we find the bracelet A got you? It looks gorgeous:)

  5. June says

    Hi Peggy
Care to share more abt ur 3 day detox prog? Would love to follow too 🙂

  6. I HATE COPYCATS TOO! You are being very kind to allow her to credit you, I’ll think she should take it down and apologise for copying!

  7. Tricia says

Hello Peggy, its my first time reading your blog. Nice reads. 🙂

It is really not nice of her to take people’s content without giving any credits. Sometimes I also see people’s blog posting graphics or images without giving credits.

Now I know why i see most of the blogs posted text contents in jpg images and watermarked it. Maybe you can try this too?

  8. Omg this is hilarious. Why did I only come across this post now? Lol. Apparently she comes from a family of wannabes and poseurs. Check out her sister – Rachel Axelle Soong. Anyway, I found out that she suffered from a bout of ‘depression’, not sure if it’s due to this embarrassment. Hahaha
