My Clinique Experience

Healthy skin is the one thing that everyone dreams of having.
To me, no amount of cosmetics is going to give me the confidence I get from having a clear and healthy complexion.

Let’s talk about the basis of skin care.
Before all of those whitening, hydrating, anti-aging concerns,
we must first make sure that we have a good cleansing regime.
There are countless skin care products developed by different brands in different parts of the world.
But when I hear that a skin care brand is developed by a team of leading dermatologists,
I know I’m in good hands.

My first encounter with Clinique was when I first met A, she has been using Clinique since she was 15.
(Yes, 15!) I always thought that she has been blessed with good skin, but apparently,
her skin type is sensitive and there are not a lot of skin care brands that work for her.

When I shared the good news about Clinique’s latest cleansing brush, she was thrilled!
The Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush is also a dermatologist developed,
Swiss engineered cleansing product that has made a difference in my life after
just a couple of weeks of use.

I have used cleansing brushes from two other leading brands before and
I’d say the Clinique cleansing brush really gives the others a good run for their money.

I am a huge advocate of cleansing brushes, and for the longest time,
I’ve been actively encouraging my close friends to introduce cleansing brushes to their cleansing regimes.
After you started using a good cleansing brush, you’ll never go back to the
conventional way of cleansing your face.
I really like the Clinique Cleansing Brush because it is SO gentle and its design is so clever!
I’ll explain how.

Other than being waterproof so you can use it in the shower,
it is lightweight so you can pack them into your suitcases for staycations or vacations.
The brush head is angled in a way that it will naturally reach all the areas
we often miss using the traditional method of cleansing.

The brush head consists of two different kinds of bristles –
the green ones are angled so they can reach areas that are prone to oil production and
clogging like the T-zone, and cleanse them thoroughly because these green bristles
are also shorter and firmer. The white bristles are longer and oh-SO-soft!
These are made to gently cleanse the other delicate parts of the face that needs our tender loving care.

Clinique has also realized how most of us don’t know how long to leave the lather on our faces for.
With this cleansing brush, it will work for 30 seconds,
the appropriate amount of usage time for most skin types, and automatically turn off.

For me, I LOVE how light and compact it is and it’s so easy to bring it around.
The charging dock works either via a socket or via a USB port,
which is perfect for me because I can charge it through my laptop when I’m overseas.
But then again, a full charge can last me up to 3 months so I doubt
I’ll have to use the charging port when I’m abroad. Heh. :p
