Celmonze The Signature

I love facials and my super thirsty skin was dying for a good hydrating treat, so I was absolutely thrilled to visit Celmonze The Signature for their innovative Aquoderm facial treatment! A little more about Celmonze before I take you along with how the customised facial was like; Celmonze The Signature has a whooping 31 outlets throughout Malaysia and has been in the beauty industry for more than 17 years. They provide different solutions for different skin types (check out their website to read more, they have 13 different types of solutions for 17 different skin types) and a trained skin technician will be there to answer any questions you have about your skin woes. The session started with a consultation with Grace, the friendly therapist. In a nutshell, we established that my skin is in a relatively healthy and good condition apart from the dullness and uneven skin tone (yes, biggest problem for me), occasional blemishes, slight sensitivity on my cheeks and generally dry skin. Grace couldn’t help but also commented on my dark …

Let’s Liese!

Let’s talk about DIY Hair Dyes. I know we have all been tried it before. For me, it started when I was in secondary school, there were these weird 3%, 6%, 9% thingy I used to get from the pharmacies to lighten the colour of my hair (Sorry, Discipline Master.) But shopping for a box of DIY hair dye from drug stores now become such a difficult task because there are SO many different brands, so many different types of colours and application methods. So when it comes to DIY hair dyes, are you #TeamFoam or #TeamCream? If you follow me on Instagram, then you probably saw the little disagreement I had with my Mom when it comes down to this. Mom insisted that cream type hair dyes are better, and I am loyal to my #TeamFoam. Mom thinks cream type hair dye will work better because the colour can be applied more evenly and it is better in quality. That is why the salons are still using cream dyes. Well, good point. But throughout …

Lip Embroidery

And so I always thought (honest opinion) that lip embroidery is a super auntie thing to do. Like who on earth would want to have red lipstick on constantly? And on days when you just wanna do like a out-of-bed look, you still need to live with that red lips? I don’t know what happened exactly, but eventually I decided to take the plunge and try lip embroidery for myself. And that was also the time when I knew that lip embroidery is not all about red lips. Hahaha!

Eyebrow Embroidery with Jenny Xu

I finally have my eyeliner embroidery done! For the longest longest longesssttt time, I’ve been toying with the idea of having my eyeliner embroidery done. Yes, I have previously tried eyebrow embroidery and I know that it is slightly painful, so I had reservations about anyone touching my eye line. And because A is doing it together with me this time, I finally had the courage to do it!

Nivea Clear

We all know the importance of removing make up at the end of the day; lack of care in that area would result in premature aging of skin, unwanted pigmentation, breakouts blah blah blah. I always try my best not to go to bed with make up on (no matter how tired I get). But I have to admit that doing the “standard” way of makeup removal can be such a pain sometimes! I wish there is a button that I just need to hit to have my make up removed and shower done immediately, but sadly, there is no easy way to a clean and healthy complexion. I recently got my hands on new products from NIVEA Make Up Clear range, and I’d like to share my findings with you. In a nutshell, the new NIVEA Make Up Clear range promises a convenient and effective cleansing routine which caters to all types of makeup users. And its Star Product would be the NIVEA Make Up Clear 3-in-1 Mud Cleanser. I love everything mud. Hahaha. …

Zombie Club

Do you look like death by 8pm too? If so, welcome to the 8pm Zombie Club. As the President of the 8pm Zombie Club, I feel obliged to let you know a little more about how things are like in our club, how you became one of us and what you can do if you want to leave the club. I have been trying some products from Clinicians – Stress & Energy Support and REM Sleep and they have helped me a lot with managing my stress and energy levels during the day and sleep during the night. But before I get to that, I have to stress how hard it is for me to get to sleep every night. I’m a huge insomniac. You will know, if you follow me on Instagram (SIGH). Here at the 8pm Zombie Club, we hardly get enough sleep. There are times (when we feel like we should sleep more), we cannot fall asleep at night. It’s the norm for us to toss and turn around on the bed …
