Hotel Clover

Staycations always work for me. Basically, I love anything that “takes me away” from reality, even for a while. This time, it was at Hotel Clover @ 33 Jalan Sultan. After researching, I realised that there are a couple of Hotel Clovers in Singapore. So if you like what you’re going to see in this post, make sure you go to the correct Hotel Clover! This is one of the newest hotel under the Hotel Clover group. I love how it looks very resort-ish and how the theme of “being close to nature” is carried out through the entire hotel nicely! Totally dig how the hotel is in a whole row of shophouses and so near my workplace!

Last weekend was a special one for me, being able to spend A’s birthday privately with her in Bangkok. I think people might think we are mad at the rate we’re visiting Bangkok. Heh! We just love this place too much! During this visit, we also checked out Le Cabinet de Curiosites of Thomas Erber, an internationally acclaimed annual exhibition, exploring both Thai and international arts. It was a feast for the eyes! This is the fifth year Le Cabinet de Curiosite was held and this time round, it was hosted by Siwilai Concept Store and Central Embassy, a brand new luxury mall in the heart of Bangkok. In this event, we saw more than 70 pieces consisting of a Lotus Arts de Vive crocodile sculpture, pieces by Thai silk company Jim Thompson, a P-Tendercool haute manufactured table, the lightest jacket ever made by Officine Generale, and an exclusive urban city bag by Maison Takuya. I received these lovely friendship bands that I absolutely love! From SAB FARO, these bands represents an inspiration of life itself I am grateful to adorn the Sab Pistol which embodies dreams and ambitions! I also got a few more in various colours and shared them with my close friends. 😀 And we decided to wear them as anklets!
