I’ve been a social butterfly this week fluttering from events to events and meeting up with my “colleagues” again.
Haha! The fellow bloggers I mean. We are colleagues, aren’t we?

That was Beatrice and myself at the runway show to celebrate the launch of a new range
which they collaborated with noted fashion designer, Alber Elbaz.
The collection was all about fun and I’m blown away by the different looks presented by
9 outstanding local makeup artists showcased during the show!

Saw Kenneth there and he was unlucky enough to be seating opposite us at the runway.
We made him take a lot of pictures for us. Haha!

Thank you Lancome Marketing Team for the invitation!
Can’t wait to try out the new mascara from the collection. 🙂

The girls were also gathered at the launch of Benefit’s new Stay Flawless 15-hour Primer!
You heard it right. 15 hours! With Singapore’s weather, I think we all need a freaking kickass primer for the makeup to stay.

Every product launch feels like a little party for everybody. Haha!

It’s lovely to see Juli too. She’s such a strong girl.
We are all behind you, Juli!!

And a nice group shot please. I love these girls!

Amidst all the work going on, I have been itching for a good Sunday brunch for the longest time.
Unfortunately, the BFFs and I were on our group chat until 6am last night (morning) and didn’t wake up in time for brunch.
Haha! So we made it for an early dinner instead.

Sinsin introduced us to this place called Grub in Bishan Park 1.
Really pretty place but a little hard to find (especially for me because I’m really bad with directions).
I saw more shrubs than Grub in Bishan Park while I was trying to locate the place. :p

The photos at Grub were taken on my new camera!
Thanks to Bea for the great recommendation, I managed to get the SONY RX-100 at $885 from MS Photo in Ang Mo Kio.
“Thanks Bea!”

The photo quality is fabulous and I’m so glad this semipro camera allows me to have full control over
the aperture size, shutter speed etc.
Thus, I’m going to let go of my SAMSUNG MV-900 camera in white!

It comes with a flip screen so it’s amazing for people who loves to take selfies.
There is inbuilt WIFI as well so you can send photos from camera to phone anytime!
It will be going at $280, only a couple of months old and hardly used.
Retail price is $499.
If you’re interested, leave a comment with your email address or email me at peggy@sixpegs.com!

OK. Back to Grub.
Sinsin took these ugly photos of us but it was quite funny so I’ll put them up anyway. Haha!

The chilli con carne was not very yummy to be honest.
A said it tasted more like tomato kongkakiao. HAHAHA! I know right, why is she so witty! Lol.
As for the other main dishes, the serving size were all quite small too, not enough for hungry people like us!

Passed Sinsin back her romper that was in my luggage when we went to Bangkok together 2 weeks ago.
Coincidentally, Lianie was wearing the same romper today.
So love until buy same clothes lor this two. Tsk tsk. ❤

And picture time with A!

I love my hair in the last picture.
Please behave yourself and stick close to my head everyday, my dear hair.

And if you’re interested in checking Grub out, here are some of the details you need.

To be honest, I think the environment of this cafe is pretty good.
The selection of food is quite big too but I wish the serving size would be slightly bigger.
It would be great if they accept reservations too because it can be quite a pain to be in line outside the cafe
and feed the mosquitoes in Bishan Park.

That’s all from me today and hope to catch you people again real soon.
Have an awesome sexy week ahead! Haha.

    Hi peggy,

Why does A say the chilli is tomato kongkakiao? Does it taste really lousy? I’m visiting Grub this week!
