My Ukulele

Sorry that I’ve been gone for the last few days! I hope you guys liked the previous entry about my skincare regime. For today, I’m super excited because I am going to introduce a very new soulmate of mine. It’s a SHE and she has an hourglass figure. She has a nice brown complexion and has a long slender neck. She originates from Hawaii and her name is Wah Pen Pen! HAHAHAHA. I know I know. You’re probably scratching your head now because you don’t know what on earth I’m rattling on and on about. To spare you the misery, here is story about how I met my soulmate! This is where I got my soulmate from. OK LAH! Wah Pen Pen is a Ukulele. I have always been intrigued about the sounds of an Ukulele after watching videos by Jake Shimabukuro on Youtube. And of course, the Ukulele is incredibly cute too! I name my new toy “Wah Pen Pen” because it supposedly sounds Hawaiian to me. HAHAHAHA. There’s a little private joke between …

Skincare & I

I received a couple requests in comments and through the chat box for me to do up an entry about my skincare regime. So here it is, me and many horrible [never seen before] pictures of me with horrible skin. I think I have had a long battle with pimples, pimple scars and dull looking skin. With that, I would like to say that I am really not someone born with fabulous skin. At many times, it was makeup or just good photography that helped concealed my flaws. Today, I’m gonna show you some scary photos of myself. Hopefully, you would still read my website after you’re done with this entry! Hahaha. Alright, to be fair, I think I was born with average skin. Occasional pimples, dull areas around the nose & mouth and dark eye rings (what else)? Bleah. But to make things worse, the modelling and mad craze for new and many cosmetics and makeup products made my skin worse. And I think my worst nemesis was liquid foundation. No offence to anyone …

Love, me

A and I visited this new place we have been wanting to visit for the longest time. We are a big fan of pretty places and when we found out about this place called Antoinette from some TV show, we were thrilled and cannot wait to go there right away! This is not an advertisement but I really wanna share this place to anyone who wants a pretty place to have tea and nice sweets. There are actually 3 different branches and you can find their address from their website. The one we went to is at Penhas Road and it’s really nice to find such a place in a boring looking place like Penhas Road. :p This place reminds of the Laduree in Paris! I love the pretty blue theme of this cafe and the gorgeous European decor. Here are some pictures of Antoinette. This place is so pretty that all the pictures turned out very well no matter where and how I take them. Hahaha! There are a lot of pretty cookies and …

I am legend

I am obscenely excited about the new plugin I got for my website. And if you’ve ever seen a little pink chat box at the corner of this page, YES that’s the exciting little thing I’m talking about! For those who haven’t seen it before, don’t worry because that thing only pops up when I’m online. I have always wanted to talk to people who read my blog. Afterall, this place is somewhat like a virtual home to me and I’d wanna know the visitors to my home better. And what the hell! I actually met one of my best friends Rossie through my blog couple years ago! And also because I know how most people are a little reluctant to leave comments, I thought a chat box would be a great idea! I tried it out and spoke to a few of the readers and I’m loving the chat box more and more. 🙂 Well, the conversations somewhat sparked off an urge to share a little more about my days in NTU. Quite a …

t.at.too.s

Tattoos are addictive. I’ve been wanting to get another tattoo for the longest time. But I haven’t decided what I want yet. There are many designs I’ve been looking at, but I’m taking my own time because I know the answer will come to me at the right time. It’s always like that. Since I’m at the the topic of tattoos, I wanna share some of the gorgeous pictures I found. I hope you like them too. I really like moustaches, not like real ones but the Pringles one! And I think I’ve listed it into one of my favourite designs. I drew a little moustache on my finger and see what how much fun it can be! OMG I love A’s meow meow cats. ♥

Chiang Mai II

Before I begin, let me wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year! Hope the Dragon Year would be a HUAT HUAT year for everyone and may everyone be happy, sexy, glam and healthy! ♥ This Chinese New Year has been a rather quiet one for everyone in my family. We didn’t do any visiting this year because of Grandma’s recent demise, but we still had fun at our family chalet! 🙂 I visited A’s place though, and it was a lot of fun meeting her family. I hope A had fun at my family chalet and family dinner too. Heh! I also received some pretty clothes to wear for the new year! Special thanks to SugarThreads for the super adorable striped dress and LustMonday for the comfy and stylish looking chiffon shirt dress! Many many love! I shall continue with my travel to Chiang Mai! This is probably my favourite part of the entire Chiang Mai trip – visiting the Karen Tribe in Mae Hong Son and Elephant rides. But before I start on those, …

Chiang Mai my love

It’s time for another post for my favourite Dove chocolates! And when I was told to blog about something close to heart – something similar to the warm fluffy feeling melting a piece of chocolate in my mouth would give me, I thought I should dedicate this entry to my beloved Mom. My mother has always been an inspiration to me since young. She always struck me as a free-spirited, optimistic and daredevil woman. Although she is my mother, she has always been more of a friend instead. We could talk about almost anything and we are comfortable to show our innermost feelings before each other. Well, to me at least. Mommy was a really adventurous girl. She used to tell me how she just picked up her luggage and went off to Japan to live and work for half a year when she was about 21 or 22. And when she was in her late twenties, she did it again, that time to London. In many ways, she has taught me how to be …
