A Smile From Dad

My Dad comes from Ipoh, Malaysia. He does not speak English and did not complete high school education and he has been working as a public bus driver for more than a decade. Dad is quiet and he hardly smiles. The only time he talks more is when he is slightly intoxicated. But whenever he wants to talk to me after he had had a few drinks, I would feel annoyed because he keeps repeating what he wants to say. Dad indulges in some vices occasionally; he has been a smoker since I was young and he enjoys having beer sessions with his colleagues almost every day after work. His favourite hangout was at a coffee shop near home. He would wave for me to come by his table whenever he catches me having lunch there in my secondary school uniform back then. “This is my daughter. She is very good at her studies!” he would tell his co-workers in Mandarin. Gradually, I found myself avoiding that coffee shop whenever I know my Dad is …

Tokyo Bust Express

Without a doubt, having pretty looking bosoms would increase the sex appeal. It helps us fill our clothes better, and as we look better, we would inevitably feel more confident too. They don’t have to be big but a ‘healthy-looking’ pair of bosoms is definitely an asset!

Biore Aqua Rich BB Cream

I am a fuss-free girl and have never been a fan of the whole routine of the moisturizer-sunblock-makeup base-liquid foundation-loose powder as it is too cumbersome, time consuming and makes me feel like my skin cannot breathe under so many layer of products! Since the birth of BB Creams, my life has been made a lot easier as it helps me cut down the step of liquid/powder foundation. However, as most BB Creams usually only have SPF 30, I still put on a layer of sunscreen before BB Cream to ensure that my skin is fully protected from the sun! When it comes to UV protection, I am kiasu in this way! :p With my busy schedule now, I have even less time in the mornings to doll up and I would rather have more time to sleep in! Thus, I am always on the lookout for fuss-free products that help me save time and effort yet still makes me look good!

Curry & Kandee

You must be thinking what kind of weird blog post title that is. You’ll know why in a short bit. I organised a little outing for The Tiramisu Hero people! It was the first time we head out together as a “company outing” so I was quite excited. We went to Casuarina Curry located at Thomson Road! The folks over there are really friendly.

BLINK Mints

I spy, I spy. I spied some free mints at The Tiramisu Hero Café. All thanks to BLINK mints, the customers at our café can now sample some mints while waiting for their meals or after their dinners! 😀 The mints came in huge cartons and I spent a good 10-15 mins looking for a nice container for these super YUMMY mints! I settled for this cute mini sack (which is also available for sale at our café’s retail corner), and the mints look super cute in it at the counter! I get a lot of customers asking me where they can buy those mints (while some just grab handfuls of them and put into their bags; I can see you although I’m making coffee, you know. Haha!).

Class of 2013

I am usually not a very gadget person but when it comes to any new technology or gadgets that can help make my blogging work easier, I would always be the first person to want to try it out! I just pocketed a new SD card from Toshiba called Flashair and it is just too cool! This is the first Toshiba SD card I have, and I wasn’t aware that they were the ones who set up the SD Association alongside other partners to develop and promote memory card storage standards! And they were the ones who invented the Flash memory too! They must be really good since they are the ones pioneered the technology. It comes with a detailed explanation on how to hook up any WiFi-enabled devices. Setup takes about 2 minutes and after a while, I’ll be able to see the pictures on my SD card from my phone!
