SIXPEGS Giveaway

This is one of the many dresses that A actually likes (on me). And I think the shade of green is gorgeous too! Many thanks to Paper Buttons for the lovely dress. Really love the orange suede bag from Kate Love as well! Awesome material. Courtesy of Paper Buttons and Kate Love, and also matching nail polishes from Nail Splash, I have personally picked some apparels, bags and polishes to give away! IT’S PRESENTS TIME, GIRLS! Here are the three outfits to be given away. I have named them according to how they “feel” like. Heh! The quality of the apparels, bags and nail polishes are all really good and I’m sure you’ll love them when you receive them too! ♥ The first outfit is Wilma. Look smart, confident and comfortable with yourself in this getup! The wide leg pants is absolutely gorgeous and the material is oh-so-comfortable. five fabulous years

Time flies. It has been almost 2 years since I’ve joined Nuffnang and it has been really nice so far. I’ve met many other people who have such “atypical” jobs like me, and many other awesome young people too! I attended Nuffnang’s 5th Birthday Bash at Swissotel yesterday and I was blown away by the 60 bloggers there. So many bloggers leh! Hahaha. I think I was among the most shabbily dressed last night. Hahaha! I picked my most comfortable pullover because I’m sure it would keep me warm in the cold hotel room. *big grin* I met Yina and Brad for the first time yesterday and they were all really friendly! It’s sometimes really odd because you already know them virtually and the first instance when you meet them in person, it’s a super odd feeling. Heh! I was on the same table with Yina, Zoe, Nadia, Yutaki, Esther, Noel and other bloggers. Had my best friend on the table too – BEER! Hahahaha. I’m such an addict. There were some awesome programmes lined …

My Ukulele

Sorry that I’ve been gone for the last few days! I hope you guys liked the previous entry about my skincare regime. For today, I’m super excited because I am going to introduce a very new soulmate of mine. It’s a SHE and she has an hourglass figure. She has a nice brown complexion and has a long slender neck. She originates from Hawaii and her name is Wah Pen Pen! HAHAHAHA. I know I know. You’re probably scratching your head now because you don’t know what on earth I’m rattling on and on about. To spare you the misery, here is story about how I met my soulmate! This is where I got my soulmate from. OK LAH! Wah Pen Pen is a Ukulele. I have always been intrigued about the sounds of an Ukulele after watching videos by Jake Shimabukuro on Youtube. And of course, the Ukulele is incredibly cute too! I name my new toy “Wah Pen Pen” because it supposedly sounds Hawaiian to me. HAHAHAHA. There’s a little private joke between …

Skincare & I

I received a couple requests in comments and through the chat box for me to do up an entry about my skincare regime. So here it is, me and many horrible [never seen before] pictures of me with horrible skin. I think I have had a long battle with pimples, pimple scars and dull looking skin. With that, I would like to say that I am really not someone born with fabulous skin. At many times, it was makeup or just good photography that helped concealed my flaws. Today, I’m gonna show you some scary photos of myself. Hopefully, you would still read my website after you’re done with this entry! Hahaha. Alright, to be fair, I think I was born with average skin. Occasional pimples, dull areas around the nose & mouth and dark eye rings (what else)? Bleah. But to make things worse, the modelling and mad craze for new and many cosmetics and makeup products made my skin worse. And I think my worst nemesis was liquid foundation. No offence to anyone …

Chiang Mai my love

It’s time for another post for my favourite Dove chocolates! And when I was told to blog about something close to heart – something similar to the warm fluffy feeling melting a piece of chocolate in my mouth would give me, I thought I should dedicate this entry to my beloved Mom. My mother has always been an inspiration to me since young. She always struck me as a free-spirited, optimistic and daredevil woman. Although she is my mother, she has always been more of a friend instead. We could talk about almost anything and we are comfortable to show our innermost feelings before each other. Well, to me at least. Mommy was a really adventurous girl. She used to tell me how she just picked up her luggage and went off to Japan to live and work for half a year when she was about 21 or 22. And when she was in her late twenties, she did it again, that time to London. In many ways, she has taught me how to be …
