Aza Aza Fighting!

It has been an overwhelming week for me, busy as a bee. I tell myself everyday that this will all be worth it and one day, I will be able to see the returns. The Tiramisu Hero is almost 3 months old now. Despite being propelled straight into “auntie-hood” – stuck in the kitchen all day and only shopping in baking supplies stores, it gives me a great sense of achievement watching the business grow bit by bit everyday. We’ve been having return customers and good feedback too! They always make our day. Chillax

It has been quite a chillax week for me so far – meeting up with friends, finding new cafes to hang out in. I like. 🙂 But before I start on the two cafes I visited, here is Bacchus, Bert and me playing lovey dovey! The two cafes I visited were Loysel’s Toy and Chillax! A and I met up with Jayne yesterday to check out Loysel’s Toy at Kampong Bugis. We were there at about 4pm and sadly weren’t in time order anything from their food menu. The place is quite cute though! Simple and clean looking. It’s really windy and spacious, so quite a perfect place to sit and just slack the afternoon away. Lemon Tart was pretty good. 🙂 I was also decked in my new leather tee from Bows And Feathers! Super comfortable to be in! They have a whole lot of cool stuff too, so don’t miss out. The Coffee Daily

A and I have been trying to visit The Coffee Daily and we finally managed to find time to drop by for a drink. 🙂 This cafe is really near her place so we were both very excited to see how it looks like. It turns out to be unpretentious and really cute! Here are just a few snapshots. The cafe is not very big but definitely spacious and comfortable to hang out in. I love how there are a lot of old school elements in the decor. Especially the window grills! Love it! Reminded me of my old house at Kallang area. They serve mostly sandwiches, waffles and other desserts. It almost felt like I was visiting an old friend’s house! :p A is addicted to some iPhone game (again). Haha. We only tried their iced chocolate and waffles with ice cream. Bintan Getaway!

Courtesy of Journeyful and Bintan Lagoon Resort, A and I were whisked away to Bintan for the weekend! I always loved weekend getaways and other than local hotel staycations, short trips to nearby isles is also one of my faves. A and I joined other bloggers and media representatives to the media launch at Bintan Lagoon Resort! The walkway to the resort was littered with the resort staff and it was really very welcoming! They all had different uniforms so I reckon they all played different roles in the resort. Very cute! I also saw other bloggers like Silver, Nadnut, Brad, Zoe, Dawn and many more. 🙂 We were all given a goodie bag with LOTS of junk food and a welcome drink at the lobby of the resort too! We put up at one of the Club Suites and it was really much bigger, cleaner and prettier than what I remembered. (I stayed at this same resort some 5 years ago) There is also a personalized welcome message in our room. Nice touch! There …

It was Lianie’s birthday on 2nd October and we all headed out to have dinner together at Casa Verde at Botanic Gardens! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIANIE DEAR! May you always be so gorgeous and fucking fabulous! We love you! ❤ The food there was really good and I like how it is not crazy crowded even at dinner time. I’ve been there for lunch once and it was packed to the brim! (Or maybe we were just luckier that night) Glorious food! I love the pizza!! I wore my new parka from Runway Bandits and new awesome kicks from Soeurs! If you haven’t heard of Soeurs, it’s time to visit them at Cineleisure Level 2. It’s opened by the awesome Jayne Tham and her sister Jasmine! Barcelona I

A and I finally made it to Barcelona! We heard so much about this place – the petty thieves, the gorgeous beaches, the friendly people, the glorious food… And indeed, this place lived up to expectations and we fell in love with Barcelona the moment we set foot on it! After dumping our rucksacks in our apartment at La Rambla, we headed out to Bar Lobo which is just round the corner. The host at our apartment raved about this place, saying it’s one of the best cafes in Barcelona and we were so excited about it! The Spanish are so friendly and the service here was so good! Very impressed. And of course, the food was absolutely fantastic (and probably the best we had throughout our stay in Barcelona). Tapas and Paella for lunch! We stayed in the heart of the city near La Rambla and the experience was really good! It’s convenient to travel around from here, and it’s near the metro station too. This entire week has been a very joyous one because we were all busy with A’s brother’s wedding! We prepared our new The Tiramisu Hero product, TuttiHero for his reception at home too! Will be launching this product soon on our website and A and I were both very excited about it! I also got my fresh manicure and pedicure at Juup Nails! I am loving the designs so much – fresh manicures always make my day. I’m shallow like that sometimes. Heh! The solemnization was done at Vineyard at Hort Park and it was just so beautiful! So much effort was put into the every little details and the atmosphere was great! Super romantic lor! Hahaha. Congratulations to Donn and Meihua, the really cute couple! ❤ Super cute pageboy!
