Thank you for the awesome week, whoevers-in-charge-up-there!
It has been a fulfilling week, running errands and having sleepless nights busy with work. I know I sound a little sadistic saying that. I’m crazy like that. A and I met up with a programmer to discuss how we can improve The Tiramisu Hero‘s website. Wish things could happen more quickly! I want a prettier website for our tiramisu! Heh. It was dressed down Monday but I always loved the whole long tee + leggings getup. C-O-M-F-Y-! Sorry ah. Showed you a bit of my thunder thighs in the picture below. Hahahaha! | OOTD | top ● topshop leggings ● bangkok watch ● nixon boots ● steve madden It was QQ’s birthday so we hopped down to Loof to meet the birthday girl. She looks not a day older than 22, doesn’t she? Can’t believe she is already xx! (女人的年龄是秘密) A looks fucking chio here. LOL! My favourite girl and I. Note to self: Need to trim eyebrows. HAPPY BIRTHDAY QQ! ♥ – – – A and I woke up bright and early the following …

Not like it makes too much of a difference for me because weekends are as crazy as weekdays, BUT weekends are always happier days because it means all my friends will not be working and everyone around me is in a better mood. Heh! A and I checked out our second distributor earlier this week! It has really been quite a ride for the both of us since The Tiramisu Hero started. Honestly, this is almost like a make-or-break thing for me. I have always been quite a pessimistic person, always thinking about the “what ifs” and contingency plans in case things fail. But A has done a lot teaching me to always look at the bright side of things and think good thoughts. I’ve been daydreaming quite a lot about the big plans and the good times ahead since I met her. I guess it’s a good thing ya? Our little humble The Tiramisu Hero has been around …
I attended the Guess Watches event some time back and have yet blogged about it, so here it is! I have never owned a Guess watch but I always remembered Guess as being loud and ‘bling’. After the event, I realized that they have so many different styles of watches, and there are so many that I cannot take my eyes off! From the loud, bling and stylish ones, to simple classic designs – every different style. During the event, I was supposed to style a model with Guess apparels to match a Guess watch of my choice. And of course, who else will be a better model than my favourite girl, A! I met other well known bloggers like my Velda, Beatrice, Zoe and Rachell. And also got the chance to meet Vel’s model Alessia again! Haven’t seen her since New Face time! And if you don’t know, I actually got to know Velda and Alessia during New Face days back in 2006. Those were the days! OK sorry I digressed. So at the …
It has been an overwhelming week for me, busy as a bee. I tell myself everyday that this will all be worth it and one day, I will be able to see the returns. The Tiramisu Hero is almost 3 months old now. Despite being propelled straight into “auntie-hood” – stuck in the kitchen all day and only shopping in baking supplies stores, it gives me a great sense of achievement watching the business grow bit by bit everyday. We’ve been having return customers and good feedback too! They always make our day. If you are one of those people who has supported The Tiramisu Hero in one way or another, I want to say a big THANK YOU to you from the bottom of my heart. 🙂 I used to be a worry wart who would only think about the bad side of everything. “What if it fails?” “What if we keep losing money? How long should we hold on for?” “Where will it takes us?” “Will we be able to earn enough to …
My apologies for my disappearance. I have been OVERWHELMED with work recently, doing tiramisu all day all night, smelling like coffee and creme half the time! I am very lucky to have supportive readers (like you!) and friends who continuously encourage me and support my new venture. THANK YOU! The Tiramisu Hero is only 11 days old but we have already fed many people our tiramisu! A few of my blogger friends are also nice enough to feature the tiramisu on their Instagram pages. *touched* They have been really sweet and supportive too. Thanks leh friends!! Very love. We also delivered our biggest order so far! 25 MommaHero! 😀 And also had our first appearance for a ZA Cosmetics private event at Les Affaires in Wisma Atria! And of course, I also met some blogger friends at the event! It’s always nice to bump into them! ❤ Sorry that my hair is looking so crazy! Hahaha. Didn’t managed to take pictures with Yina. 😦 And here is the person-in-charge, Jocelyn from ZA. I cannot help …
A and I checked out this little cafe called Saveur on Sunday night. We heard raves about the good food and low prices of the French food served at this cafe, and also saw pictures of pretty food from my friend Cheryl’s Instagram, so we decided to go take a look for ourselves! I read about how Saveur used to be a kopitiam stall and after they moved to their new location, standard of comfort, ambience, location went up, but the prices remained the same! It was quite a big place and it was packed when we arrived. They have two units along Purvis Road but they only opened one side of the cafe. It was still very cosy though! We were also very excited because there are alot of other yummy “kopitiam” style food along Purvis Street! The menu looks pretty promising. And the prices are REALLY affordable – like only $6.90 for a serving of pasta! I like the drawing on the wall too. Very cute! Look how it’s packed to the brim! …
